ITA Honors Men’s Tennis as All-Academic Team; Six Named Scholar Athletes

The Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis team was honored for the 16th straight season and 23rd time in the last 24 years by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as an ITA All-Academic Team. In addition, six players were named ITA Scholar Athletes.
Tartans Impress Once Again in Classroom During Spring Semester

It was a terrific spring semester for Carnegie Mellon Athletics, as nine teams earned NCAA Championship appearances during the winter and spring seasons—while Tartans continued to shine in the classroom. An impressive 147 student-athletes achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA, and nearly two-thirds posted a GPA of 3.50 or higher, exemplifying the department’s commitment to excellence on and off the field.
Feies Competes at NCAA Singles Tournament

Feies Named ITA Regional Rookie of the Year

Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis freshman Alex Feies was honored as the Division III Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Atlantic Regional Rookie of the Year. This is the second straight season the Tartans have received he award and fifth time in program history.

Feies Invited to NCAA Men's Individual Championships

Freshman Alex Feies has been selected to play for the NCAA Division III Men's Individual Championships to be held to be held at Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, California, May 23-27. The championships are being hosted by Claremont McKenna Mudd Scripps Colleges.
Feies Selected as UAA Rookie of the Year; Three Others Earn All-UAA

Carnegie Mellon University men’s tennis first-year athlete Alex Feies has been named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Men’s Tennis Rookie of the Year and is joined on the All-Association team by three others. Feies is the second straight UAA Rookie of the Year for the Tartans.

The 24th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis team played 32nd-ranked Washington University in St. Louis in the fifth-place match of the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship on Sunday in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The Tartans dropped a hard fought 4-2 match and move to 10-10 overall while the Bears are now 13-8.
#24 Tartans Defeat Rochester at UAA Championship

The 24th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis team played University of Rochester in the consolation semifinals of the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship on Friday in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The Tartans move to 10-9 overall with a 4-0 win while the Yellowjackets are now 9-10.

The 24th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis team opened University Athletic Association (UAA) play on Friday at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Florida, with a 4-3 setback to 27th-ranked NYU. The Tartans move to 9-9 overall while the Violets are now 11-2.
#21 Tartans Lose Hard Fought Match to #5 Case Western

The 21st-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men’s tennis team hosted the fifth-ranked Case Western Reserve University on Saturday afternoon. The Spartans came out on top, putting the Tartans at 9-8 overall while the Spartans are now 22-5.
#20 Tartans Drop Match at #3 Denison

The 20th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis team traveled to Granville, Ohio to play third-ranked Denison University on Saturday afternoon and dropped a 6-1 match. The Tartans are now 9-7 while the Big Red are 19-2.

The 27th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University men’s tennis team faced 15th-ranked Johns Hopkins University on Friday, April 4 at the University of Mary Washington. The match came down to the final singles point with the Blue Jays winning 4-3. The Tartans are now 8-6 overall.
