Joshi and Feies Named CSC Academic All-Americans

Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis senior Akshay Joshi and sophomore Alex Feies have been named to the Academic All-America® Men's Tennis Team as selected by the College Sports Communicators. Joshi was selected to the second team while Feies earned a spot on the third team.
Wang Named UAA Men’s Golf Rookie of the Year; Two Others and Coaching Staff Honored

Freshmen Joshua Wang of the Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team has been named University Athletic Association (UAA) Rookie of the Year, as voted on by the association coaches. Wang, also a first-team selection, is joined by senior David Zhang on the top squad and junior Ryan Dannegger who garnered second team accolades.
Three Tartans Named All-UAA; Coaching Staff Honored

The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team had three athletes honored by the University Athletic Association's (UAA) coaches on the All-UAA team when the awards were announced. Headlining the squad for the Tartans is sophomore Emma Wong on the first team. Junior Samantha Wang and freshman Alyssa Lim were named to the second team.

For the second straight season, the Carnegie Mellon University women’s golf team concluded an outstanding year with a national runner-up finish at the 2026 NCAA Division III Championships, held at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, California. The Tartans recorded a final-round score of 290 (+2) to finish the 72-hole championship with a program-record total of 1,161 (291-295-285-290).

The Carnegie Mellon University women’s golf team posted the lowest team round of the tournament through three rounds at the 2026 NCAA Division III Championships on Thursday, shooting a three-under-par 285 at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, California. The Tartans enter Friday’s final round in second place overall with a 54-hole total of 871 (+7) after rounds of 291, 295, and 285, just one stroke behind tournament leader Emory University (+6).

The Carnegie Mellon University men’s and women’s track and field teams had 37 Mid-Atlantic All-Region honors awarded to its athletes by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2026 outdoor track and field season. Twenty-five represent the men while 12 represent the women with five men and two women receiving multiple honors.

The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team continued play at the 2026 NCAA Division III Championships on Wednesday at Desert Willow Golf Club in Palm Desert, California. The Tartans recorded a team score of 295 (+7) on the Firecliff Course and have a 36-hole score of 586 (+10) while they are in second place in a field of 34 teams. Following the completion of the second-round, the field was cut to the top 15 teams and the top six individuals not on advancing teams.

The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team opened play in the first round of the 2026 NCAA Division III Championship on Tuesday at Desert Willow Golf Club in Palm Desert, California. The Tartans carded a team score of three-over par 291 and are currently in the lead after playing the Mountain View Course.
WGCA Honors Players; Four Tartans Named All-America

For the third consecutive season, four members of the Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team earned All-America honors from the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) with two others earning regional recognition. This also marks the seventh straight year that multiple members have been honored.
