(PALM DESERT, Calif.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team continued play at the 2026 NCAA Division III Championships on Wednesday at Desert Willow Golf Club in Palm Desert, California. The Tartans recorded a team score of 295 (+7) on the Firecliff Course and have a 36-hole score of 586 (+10) while they are in second place in a field of 34 teams. Following the completion of the second-round, the field was cut to the top 15 teams and the top six individuals not on advancing teams.

How it Happened:

  • Sophomore Emma Wong and freshman Alyssa Lim are tied for ninth individually following 36-holes with a one-under par 143 in a field of 176 golfers.
  • Wong led the Tartans on Wednesday with a round of even par 72 while Lim carded a one-over par 73.
  • On Wednesday, sophomore Cecilia Jia carded a two over par 74 and will enter play in the third round with 148 (74-74).
  • Junior Nikita Jadhav fired her second straight round of four-over par 76 and will head into play on Thursday with a 152 (76-76).
  • Sophomore Samantha Wang has a 157 (77-80).
