Three Tartans Named All-UAA; Coaching Staff Honored
(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team had three athletes honored by the University Athletic Association's (UAA) coaches on the All-UAA team when the awards were announced. Headlining the squad for the Tartans is sophomore Emma Wong on the first team. Junior Samantha Wang and freshman Alyssa Lim were named to the second team.
The Tartan coaching staff, under the direction of Dan Rodgers along with assistant coach Ty Jones, were named UAA Coaching Staff of the Year. This is the third time on the women's side that Rodgers and his staff have received the honor. The other times were following the 2024 and 2018 seasons.
The Tartans competed in their sixth straight NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships and seventh appearance in program's 12-year history this season where they were national runner-up.
