Outdoor Track and Field Garners 37 USTFCCCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region Honors

The Carnegie Mellon University men’s and women’s track and field teams had XX Mid-Atlantic All-Region honors awarded to its athletes by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2026 outdoor track and field season. Twenty-five represent the men while 12 represent the women with five men and two women receiving multiple honors.
Podnar Closes Year at NCAA Championships

Carnegie Mellon University men's track and field senior Ryan Podnar competed at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by the University of Wisconsin La Crosse at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin, on Thursday.
Freimanis and Podnar to Compete at NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships

Two Carnegie Mellon University men's indoor track and field athletes have received an invite to compete at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 21-23. This year's championships is hosted by the University of Wisconsin La Crosse and will be held at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Tartans Set Three School Records on Final Day of UAA Championships

The Carnegie Mellon University men’s track and field competed in the final day at the University Athletic Association (UAA) Outdoor Championships on Sunday hosted by Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. The Tartans placed fourth with 143 points while the University of Chicago won the title with 194.5 points. On Sunday, the Tartans broke three school records.
