Andrew Mpasiakos Joins Men’s Soccer Program as Full-Time Assistant

Head men’s soccer coach Brandon Bowman is proud to welcome Andrew Mpasiakos as the full-time assistant coach for the program. Mpasiakos replaces associate head coach Ross Macklin who departed the program after four years on the sidelines under Bowman for the opportunity as an assistant coach at Division I Dartmouth College.
Tartans Continue Academic Excellence Through Fall Semester

The fall athletics season was highlighted by four team NCAA Championship appearances and six nationally-ranked winter and spring teams, while the Tartans continued to excel in the classroom. An impressive 156 student-athletes achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA, and 67% earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher.
Six Tartans Earn Academic Recognition from College Sports Communicators

Gonzalez Tabbed as All-Region VII Honoree

Carnegie Mellon University men's soccer sophomore Tristan Gonzalez has been named to the United Soccer Coaches Region VII team. Gonzalez earned a spot on the third team, collecting the first all-region accolade of his career and the first for a Tartan since 2022.
Fitzwilliam Highlights Five Honored by UAA

Five Carnegie Mellon University men's soccer players have been named to the 2025 All-University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Soccer Team with freshman Mateas Fitzwilliam garnering first-team accolades. Fitzwilliam was joined by sophomore Tristan Gonzalez on the second team while freshman Idan Garten, and juniors Dominic Hoar-Weiler and Kai Yamamoto received honorable mention recognition.
Last-Minute Goal by Fung Gives Tartans 1-0 Victory

The Carnegie Mellon University men’s soccer team hosted Case Western Reserve University for the last University Athletic Association (UAA) contest of the season on Saturday, November 8. After a long battle, the Tartans won by a 1-0 score with a last-minute goal, making their overall record 9-4-5 and 2-3-2 in conference while Case Western Reserve falls to 7-5-5 and 1-4-2.

The Carnegie Mellon University men’s soccer team fell to the University of Rochester on Saturday, November 1 by a 1-0 score. The loss brings the Tartans to a record of 8-4-5 and 1-3-2 for conference while the Yellowjackets move to 9-4-4 and 3-2-1.
Tartans Steal Road Win, Top #5 Brandeis, 1-0

The Carnegie Mellon University men's soccer team closed the road University Athletic Association (UAA) weekend with a 1-0 victory at fifth-ranked Brandeis University. The result marks the team's fifth point in UAA play, as the Tartans are now 1-2-2 in league play and 8-3-5 overall. The Judges fall to 9-2-4 overall and 1-2-2 in the UAA.
Tartans Suffer 1-0 Road Loss to NYU

The Carnegie Mellon University men’s soccer team travelled to New York University on Friday, October 24 to face the Violets in a University Athletic Association (UAA) contest. A late second-half goal for the home team dropped the Tartans 7-3-5 for the season and 0-2-2 in the UAA while NYU rises to a 3-8-1 overall and 1-3 in the UAA.
Tartans Drop First UAA Game at #4 WashU

The Carnegie Mellon University men’s soccer team competed against 4th-ranked Washington University in St. Louis on Sunday, October 19. A first half goal by the Bears gave the Tartans a 1-0 loss, their first in University Athletic Association (UAA) play. The Tartans are now 7-2-5 for the year and 0-1-2 in the UAA while the Bears move to 11-1-0 and 3-0-0.
