Idan Garten - Men's Soccer

Freshman forward Idan Garten scored twice this week for the Carnegie Mellon University men's soccer team who finished the week with a win and a tie. The 3-1 road win at Mount Aloysius College on Wednesday gave the Tartans their seventh win of the season and Garten recorded the game winner in the 20th minute of play. Garten followed that with the tying goal in a 1-1 tie at home against second-ranked Emory University. His eighth goal of the season came in the 51st minute and spoiled Emory's hopes of winning at CMU for the first time since 2012.
