(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's volleyball team split competition with Ohio Wesleyan University and Mount Union University on Saturday, September 21 at home. The Tartans topped the Battling Bishops by a 3-1 score before falling to the Purple Raiders, 3-0.
Inside the Box Score Against Ohio Wesleyan
- The Tartans took at 2-0 lead with set wins of 25-21 and 25-19 before Ohio Wesleyan won the third set, 26-24. The Tartans closed the match with a 25-12 win.
- The Tartans hit .204 and the Bishops hit .149.
- Three Tartans reached double figures in kills with graduate student Laura Reichard leading with 15.
- Freshman Katherine Marshall tallied 12 kills and junior Bella Woodard had 10 kills.

- Chen picked up 12 digs and sophomore Zoe Gavros and Tummala each had 11 digs.
