Six from Women's Soccer Honored on CSC Academic All-District Team

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – Six Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for Division III Women's Soccer.

The Academic All-District Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Players honored were selected by their school's Athletics Communications professionals. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the games and carry at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and have achieved at least sophomore academic and athletic standing.

Academic All‐District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All‐America ballot. First‐, second‐ and third-team Academic All‐America honorees will be announced in December, following a vote by CSC's membership, which is comprised of more than 3,000 sports information and athletic communication professionals throughout the United States and Canada.

Cecelia Dieterich - Graduate Student - 3.92 - Business Analytics
Abby O'Connor - Junior - 3.62 - Business Administration
Natalie Rayce - Sophomore - 3.90 - Statistics and Economics
Emma Shirzad - Senior - 3.68 - Business Administration
Saveria Ulizzi - Sophomore - 3.90 - Mechanical Engineering

O'Connor is a repeat honoree.
