Tartans Complete Season in NCAA Second Round

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – The seventh-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team hosted a second round game of the Division III NCAA Women's Soccer Championship against Illinois Tech on Sunday, November 17. After an intense match that ended in a 2-2 tie following double overtime, the game was decided by penalty kicks. The Scarlet Hawks won the penalty kick shootout 7-6 to advance to the round of 16.
