Feies Retires Early in ITA Regionals Finals Round 

(FREDERICKSBURG, Va.) – Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis sophomore Alex Feies represented the Tartans in the championship round of the singles bracket at the ITA Southeast Regional on Sunday, October 5 for the second straight year.

This year, Feies competed against senior Michael Melnikov from Swarthmore College, a player he defeated in last year's semifinal. Feies was forced to retire due to injury after falling in the first set 6-3.

Feies will travel to Berry College in Rome, Georgia, for the ITA Cup on Thursday, October 16 through Sunday, October 19.
