Tartans Finish Fourth at Jekyll Island Collegiate
(JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga.) - The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team finished play at the Jekyll Island Collegiate on Sunday firing a 54-hole team score of 22-under par 842 (279-281-282). The Tartans placed fourth in the field of 30 teams.

How it Happened:
- Junior Ryan Dannegger led the Tartans with a six-under par 210 after carding rounds of four-under 68, and back-to-back rounds of one-under 71. Dannegger placed tied for 15th individually in a field of 150 golfers
- Freshmen Joshua Wang and Jason Chan both ended the three-round event with a four-under par 212 which tied them for 23rd. Wang fired a two-under par 70 for the first two rounds and then a round of even par 72 while Chan posted rounds of even par 72, a collegiate-best round of three-under par 69 and then a one-under par 71.
- Senior David Zhang carded rounds of three-under par 69, one-under 71 and ended play on Sunday with a 74 for a 54-hole score of two-under par 214.
- On Sunday, freshman Charlie Hubbard tied his collegiate low round of four-under par 68 after carding rounds of even par 72 and a two-over par 74 for a 214 to tie Zhang.
Notes
- The Tartans 54-hole score of 842 (-22) is the second lowest three-round score in program history.
