Wang Named UAA Athlete of the Week

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Freshman Joshua Wang of the Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Golf Athlete of the Week following his performance in leading the Tartans at the 2025 Tartan Invitational last week.

Wang led the Tartans with an even par 216. He opened play carding a two-over par 74 and then followed with a one-over par 73. In the final round he then fired a three-under par 69 to claim his second individual medalist honor of the fall.

Wang has now carded par or under in eight of his 12 rounds this fall and has an average of 70.9 per round.
