Tartans Runner Up at Wabash Invite
(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.) – The Carnegie Mellon men's golf team competed at the Wabash Invitational at the Broadmoor Country Club on Monday, October 6 and Tuesday, October 7. The Tartans placed second out of 18 teams, carding rounds of 273 (-15), 286 (-2) and 287 (-1) for an 846 (-18).

How it Happened
- Senior David Zhang was the Tartan's top finisher, tying for third place individually in a field of 96 players. Zhang hit a six-under par 210 (68-71-71).
- Senior Andrew Wang carded a five-under par 211 (68-71-72), placing fifth overall.
- Freshman Joshua Wang tied for sixth with a four-under 212 (68-73-71).
- Junior Ryan Dannegger finished 11th at one-under par with a 215 (69-71-75).
- Freshman Jason Chan carded a three-over par 219 (72-74-73), tying for 23rd.
Notes
- During the second round, Dannegger recorded the programs first albatross (double eagle) on hole 18 which is a par 5, 509-yard hole.
- The Tartans opening round of 273 (-15) is the second best single-round in program history.
- The Tartans 54-hole score of 846 (-18) is the second lowest three-round score in program history.
