Rodgers Named Finalist for 2024 NCAA Division III Dave Williams Coach of the Year Award

(NORMAN, Okla.) – Carnegie Melon University head men's golf coach Dan Rodgers has been named a finalist for the 2024 Division III Dave Williams Award presented by Golf Pride Grips as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). This marks the second straight year that Rodgers has been named a finalist.

After guiding Carnegie Mellon to their first NCAA team national championship in school history last season, Rodgers led the Tartans to top-10 finishes in all eight tournaments this season with two wins, including the Visit Florence Intercollegiate. The Tartans were led on the course by First-Team All-University Athletic Association (UAA) golfers junior Justin Chan, senior Brian Xu and sophomore David Zhang. Chan is a finalist for the Jack Nicklaus Award presented by Workday.

Rodgers is joined by Nick Cocalis of Bethel (MN), Steve Conley of Methodist, Jim Owen of Oglethorpe and John Sjoberg of Emory as the five finalists.
