Caputo Named PAC Special Teams Player of the Week

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – Carnegie Mellon University junior placekicker Justin Caputo was named Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Special Teams Player of the Week for his play in the 15th-ranked Tartans' 66-0 win over Bethany College on Saturday, September 21.

Caputo accounted for nine of the Tartans' 66 points in the win on Saturday. The junior placekicker got the Tartans scoring started with a 33-yard field goal to cap the opening drive of the game. Caputo then converted 6-of-6 point after attempts.

Carnegie Mellon will travel to Washington, Pennsylvania, Saturday, September 28 to play the Presidents of Washington & Jefferson College. Kick is set for 2:00 p.m.
