  • Tartans Receive Third Straight At-Large Invite to NCAA Championship Race

    The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team received an at-large invitation to the 2019 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championships marking the third straight season the Tartans will race as a team for the championship. This year's race will be hosted by Spalding University at the Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, November 23. The team appearance marks the sixth in program history.
  • Tartan Women Finish Third at Mideast Regional Championship

    The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team ran to a third-place finish at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships hosted at Lehigh University this Saturday. Following two top-five nationally ranked teams, Johns Hopkins University and Dickinson College, the women finished with 138 points, 50 points behind topped ranked Johns Hopkins and 40 points behind fifth-ranked Dickinson College.

    The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team hosted the 2019 University Athletic Association (UAA) Cross Country Championships on its home course in Schenley Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Saturday afternoon and finished fourth on the 6k course. Washington University in St. Louis won the race with 24 points.

    The 23rd-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team repeated as champions for the third time at the Allegheny College Classic on Saturday morning. The women scored six runners in the top 15 among a field of Division III teams including Allegheny and Case Western Reserve University.

    The Carnegie Mellon women's cross country team kicked off the season with its opener at the 2019 Duquesne Duals Invitational at Shenley Park on Saturday morning. The women finished second overall on the 5k course competing against Division I teams Duquesne University and Youngstown State University.
