#23 Tartans Close Season in NCAA Regional Final Against #4 Wisconsin-Eau Claire
(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - The 23rd-ranked Carnegie Mellon University volleyball team's season came to an end on Saturday, November 22 in the regional final of the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship after a 3-2 decision went to fourth-ranked Wisconsin-Eau Claire. It marked the second time in program history the Tartans played for a regional title.

- Junior Kate Giang led the team with 15 kills in 39 attempts and also had 14 digs.
- Senior Katherine Jackson finished with 11 kills while seniors Bella Woodard and Elizabeth Schlemmer each finished with eight kills.
- Freshman Dani Lee led with 21 assists while junior Neha Tummala had 19 assists.
- Junior Zoe Gavros finished with 25 digs.
- The Tartans had 11 blocks with Woodard accumulating two block solos and two block assists and senior Julianna McFarland finishing with one block solo and three block assists.
- The Tartans took set one by a 25-23 score after hitting .500 with 18 kills.
- Wisconsin-Eau Claire rallied for a 25-18 set-two win before the Tartans won set three by the same score.
- A back-and-forth fourth set went to Eau Claire by a 25-23 score.
- Set four was all the Blugolds, as they got out to an 8-1 lead that went to 10-2 and then 14-4 before the final 15-7 score.
- Gavros and Giang were named to the regional all-tournament team for their performances across the three matches.
- The Tartans conclude the season with a 26-9 record as the Blugolds advance to 30-4.
