(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – The 22nd-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's volleyball team hosted the 18th-ranked Hope College on Thursday, September 18. The Tartans lost 3-0, putting them at 9-3 overall, while Hope College is at 5-4.

- The Tartans were defeated with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, and 26-24.
- The Tartans hit .173 and Hope hit .246.
- Senior Katherine Jackson and junior Kate Giang led the team offensively with 12 and eight kills, respectively.
