Tartans Sweep Neighbor Chatham for 13th Win
(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's volleyball team played against Chatham University on Friday, October 11 with The Tartans defeating the Cougars in three sets, making them 13-6 for the season.

- The Tartans won by set scores of 25-17, 25-23, and 25-14.
- The Tartans hit a .195 compared to Chatham's .018.
- Graduate student Laura Reichard recorded another double-double with 12 kills and 11 digs while hitting .370 for the match.
- Sophomore Neha Tummala collected 35 of the team's 36 assists and had 10 digs.
- Senior Abby Chen led the team defensively with 17 digs and also collected three service aces.
- Sophomore Elizabeth Phillips had two block assists and one block solo, all coming in the first set.
- Junior Kai Herchenroether had two block solos and one block assist.

The Tartans will travel to St. Louis, Missouri, for the University Athletic Association (UAA) Round Robin #2 and face the University of Rochester on Sunday, October 13 at 10:00 a.m. CT before playing sixth-ranked Emory University at 12:00 p.m. CT.
