#9 Tartans Stopped by #10 Bowdoin
(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - The ninth-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to 10th-ranked Bowdoin College on Sunday, April 5 at home. The Tartans are now 13-4 overall while the Polar Bears are 6-4.
Inside the Results
- Bowdoin earned the doubles point with wins at the second and third positions. Freshman Ika Kanumuri and sophomore Kotistha Modak won their first doubles match by a 7-5 score.
- The other Tartan win came from senior Divya Venkatarama in a third-set tiebreaker, 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-4).
