Wong Earns UAA Athlete of the Week for Women's Tennis

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) - Carnegie Mellon University freshman Jane Wong was honored as the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week for her performance at the ITA Southeast Regional last week.

Wong became the seventh straight Tartan and fifth first-year Tartan to win the ITA Southeast Regional Singles Championship on Monday. Wong topped her freshman teammate, Ika Kanumuri, in straight sets in the finals by a score of 6-1, 6-1.
