Five Tartans Named WGCA All-American Scholars
(CORAL SPRINGS, Fla.) – For the sixth time in the last seven seasons, five members of the 2025-26 Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team have been named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team, as announced by the organization. Juniors Nikita Jadhav and Samantha Wang, sophomore Cecilia Jia along with freshmen Alyssa Lim and Jacqueline Zang were recognized. It also marks the ninth straight year four or more have been recognized.
This is the third accolade for Jadhav while Jia is honored for the second time.
A total of 1,551 women's collegiate golfers were recognized from NCAA Division I, II and III. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team is a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 and have played in 50% of the regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
