Tartans Place Third at Max and Susan Stith Invitational
GLEN ALLEN, Va.) - The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team, ranked second in Division III, carded rounds of 311, 295 and 297 at the 54-hole Max and Susan Stith Invitational hosted by Randolph–Macon College. The Tartans ended the event with a team score of 903 to place third in the 16-team event.

How it Happened:
- Sophomore Emma Wong carded a round of three-under par 69 over the final 18 holes of the 54-hole vent and finished with a seven-over par 223 (77-77-69). Wong tied for eighth individually in a field of 84 golfers.
- Sophomore Cecilia Jia turned in a round of even par 72 on Tuesday, as she finished the three-round event with a nine-over 225 (78-75-72).
- During round two, junior Samantha Wang carded a two-under par 70, her best round of the event, and finished with a 227 (78-70-79).
- Junior Nikita Jadhav carded a score of 233 (78-73-82).
- Freshman Jacqueline Zang ended the 54-hole event with a 238 (83-78-77).
- The Tartans had one individual that competed; sophomore Caroline Fixter carded a 244 (78-82-84).
