Tartan “B” Team Wins Guy & Jeanna Kuhn Invite

(MEADVILLE, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon women's golf 'B' team finished play at the Guy & Jeanne Kuhn Invitational on Monday. The Tartans fired a total score of 593 (303-290), placing first overall in a field of eight teams.

How It Happened:

• Freshman Jacqueline Zang was the top finisher for the Tartans, placing second overall in a field of 48 golfers. She carded a three-over par 145 (76-69) over the two-day competition.
• Junior Nikita Jadhav and senior Wenna Zhang tied for third place, each hitting a seven-over par 149. Jadhav carded a 73-76 and Zhang a 75-74.
• Freshman Claudia Zhang carded an eight-over par 150 (79-71), earning fifth place overall.
• Sophomore Caroline Fixter's 159 (80-79) put her in 10th place.
