WGCA Honors Players; Four Tartans Named All-America

(WILLIAMSBURG, Va.) – For the second straight season, four members of the Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team earned All-America honors from the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) with two others earning regional recognition. This also marks the sixth straight year that multiple members have been honored.

Graduate student Alexis Sudjianto along with freshmen Cecilia Jia and Emma Wong were named to the All-American first team while senior Sriya Mupparaju joined the trio on the second team. Senior Kaylin Yeoh and sophomore Nikita Jadhav complemented their teammates as a regional honoree. Head coach Dan Rodgers was named the Division III Golf Pride Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year. It was the sixth straight honor for Rodgers. Jia and Wong were also named to the WGCA All-Freshman Team.

The six Tartans, along with the direction of Rodgers and assistant coach Ty Jones, helped the top-ranked Tartans to their fifth straight and sixth appearance in program history to the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships. The team has won four events this season, as well as set school records for the lowest team round, a three-under par 285 in the closing round of the Jekyll Island Collegiate, and the lowest three-round score, six-over par 870 at the Golfweek Classic.

Heading into play at the NCAAs, Sudjianto leads the Tartans with a scoring average of 73.6 through 16 rounds. She claimed her third collegiate individual medalist honor this season at the Deb Jackson Invitational. Sudjianto carded a season-low round of three-under par on two different occasions this season, the first at the Jekyll Island Collegiate and the second at the Deb Jackson. In all, she has four top-three performances this season and 12 for her career, tying her for second most for a career in program history. Her three career individual medalist honors also rank tied for second in program history.

Jia competed in 16 rounds for the Tartans this season and finished the regular season second on the team in scoring average with a 74.3. She recorded a season-low round of three-under par Jekyll Island Collegiate. She claimed her first collegiate individual medalist at the South Georgia Invitational. Jia also set the school record for the lowest individual 54-hole total in the program's history at the Golfweek Classic carding even par.

Wong has a scoring average of 74.7 through 12 rounds of play. She claimed individual medalist at the Allegheny Guy & Jeanne Kuhn Invitational. Wong recorded a season-low round of one-under par at the Golfweek Classic.

Mupparaju competed in 16 rounds and has a scoring average of 74.4. She posted a season-low round of four-under par at the Golfweek Classic, which is tied for the third lowest round in program history.

Jadhav has a scoring average of 76.9 through 11 rounds for the Tartans. Her season-low round of three-under par came at the Montgomery Country Club Women's Intercollegiate, which also tied her collegiate low round.

Yeoh has a scoring average of 78.2 through 10 rounds. She recorded her season-low round of to-over par at the Win Palmer.
