Tartans ‘B’ Team Wins the Win Palmer Cup

(SEWICKLEY, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf 'B' team completed play at Win Palmer Cup on Tuesday and carded a 36-hole score of 612 (297-315) to win the eight-team event.

How it Happened:

• Junior Wenna Zhang and freshman Caroline Fixter both fired a 152 for the 36-hole event and tied for second individually in a field of 47 golfers.
• Zhang carded an opening round of even par 70 and then an 82 while Fixter fired back-to-back rounds of 76.
• Senior Kaylin Yeoh placed fifth with a 153 (74-79).
• Sophomore Ashley Liu shot a 155 (77-78) and placed sixth.
