(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – Graduate student Alexis Sudjianto of the Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Golf Athlete of the Week following her performance in leading the Tartans to a second place showing at the 24-team 54-hole Jekyll Island Collegiate played at King and Prince Golf Course in St. Simons Island, Georgia.

Sudjianto fired a season-low three-under par in the final round of play and led the Tartans over the 54-hole event with a score of one-over par 217 (73-75-69). Sudjianto tied for second individually in a field of 120 golfers. She also helped the Cardinal and Gray tie the school record for the lowest team round as the Tartans recorded a three-under par 285 for the final round.

Sudjianto has an average of 73.8 per round and ranks second on the Tartans.

The Tartans will hit the links again on March 31 and April 1 at The Max and Susan Stith Invitational being played at The Dominion Club in Glen Allen, Virginia.
