Tartans Tie School Record for Lowest Team Round and End Play at Jekyll in Second
(ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team tied the school record for the lowest team round on Sunday firing a three-under par 285 ended play at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Sunday with a 54-hole score of 883 (294-304-285). The Tartans finished second in a field of 24 teams.

How it Happened:
- Graduate student Alexis Sudjianto fired a season-low three-under par on Sunday and led the Tartans over the 54-hole event with a score of one-over par 217 (73-75-69). Sudjianto tied for second individually in a field of 120 golfers.
- Freshman Cecilia Jia also carded a three under-par 69, collegiate-low, on Sunday and ended with a 220 (73-78-69) and placed seventh.
- A third top 10 showing was recorded for the Tartans as senior Sriya Mupparaju placed ninth with a 222 (72-77-73).
- Sophomore Samantha Wang finished play with a 227 (76-75-76).
- Freshman Emma Wong carded a 231 (80-77-74).
