Tartans In Third After Second Round of Golfweek October Classic

(DESTIN, Fla.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's golf team continued play at the Golfweek October Classic on Monday and fired a 291 for round two. The Tartans are currently in third place with a nine-over par 585 (294-291).

How it Happened

• Freshman Emma Wong led the Tartans for a second straight round as she fired a one-over par 73 on Monday. The freshman has an even par 144 (72-73) after 36 holes and puts her in a tie for third place in a field of 124 golfers.
• Freshman Cecilia Jia fired a two-under par 70 for round two and has a one-over par 145 (75-70), tying her for fifth.
• Graduate student Alexis Sudjianto carded a 75 Monday and has a four-over par 148 (73-75).
• Sophomore Nikita Jadhav will enter the final round with a 149 (76-73) after entering the clubhouse with a one-over par for round two.
• Senior Sriya Mupparaju has a 36-hole score of 153 (75-78).
