#23 Tartans Rally for UAA Opening Win at Case Western Reserve
(CLEVELAND, Ohio) - The 23rd-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's basketball team opened the University Athletic Association (UAA) season with a 69-63 victory at Case Western Reserve University on Saturday, January 11. The Tartans are now 11-1 overall and 1-0 in the league while the Spartans drop to 5-6 and 0-1.

- The Tartans took their 61.5% shooting in the third frame into the fourth and shot 88.9% from the floor, including a 3-of-3 performance from long range to turn the five-point deficit into a six-point win.
- The final quarter belonged to Or, who was 4-of-5 from the floor, and 4-of-6 from long range, to score 16 points.
