Carnegie Mellon Softball Unveils 2026 Schedule, Embracing a New Era

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - The Carnegie Mellon University softball program officially announced its 2026 schedule, ushering in an exciting new chapter for the program. After graduating seven seniors, the Tartans welcome an impressive class of 9 freshmen—setting the stage for a young, hungry roster eager to leave its mark.

Despite the team's youth, head coach Monica Harrison is expecting an electric season from this talented group of hopefuls, who are ready to compete and grow together in the always competitive University Athletic Association (UAA).

Leading the way in the circle will be sophomore and reigning UAA Rookie of the Year Gianna Adams. She's joined by fellow second team All-UAA standouts junior Maddy Beall (OF) and sophomore Reagan Diamond (C), forming a strong veteran core to guide the next generation.

The Tartans will open the 2026 campaign on March 1 at The Spring Games in Clermont, Florida, where early-season tests will set the tone for what promises to be a thrilling year.
