Coyle Named UAA Athlete of the Week For the Second Time
(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) – For the second time in the last three weeks, Carnegie Mellon University senior Matthew Coyle was named University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.
Coyle claimed the UAA Individual Champion on Saturday as the Tartans placed second as a team. The senior crossed the finish line first on the 8k course with a time of 24:21.0. He is the first UAA Champion under head coach Tim Connelly and first since 2014 when George Degen won the race.
The Tartans will race in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional on Saturday November 16 at 12:00 p.m.
