#21 Tartans Top Second Straight Ranked Opponent

(FREDERICKSBURG, Va.) – The Carnegie Mellon University men's tennis team, ranked 21st nationally, upset its second straight opponent on Sunday afternoon when the topped #16 University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Va.  The win improves the Tartans dual record to 9-4.

Carnegie Mellon led 2-1 heading into singles play. After the Tartans got wins from the number one and five spots in singles play, freshman Will Duncan (Newbury Park, Calif./Newbury Park) clinched the Tartan victory with a 6-3, 6-4 decision at third singles.
