Tartans Score in 89th Minute to Record a 1-1 Draw at Ohio Wesleyan

(DELAWARE, Ohio) - The Carnegie Mellon University men's soccer team traveled to Delaware, Ohio on Wednesday evening to play the Bishops of Ohio Wesleyan. The Tartans left with a 1-1 draw and now are 2-0-3 on the year while OWU moved to 0-2-2.

• The Bishops struck first with an unassisted goal in the seventh minute by Jack Jennings.
• The Tartans had a chance to tie it up in the first half after a yellow card on OWU however
  the penalty kicked was saved by Kai Yamamoto.
• The scored stayed 1-0 until the 89th minute when freshman Idan Garten scored to knot the score at 1-all off an assist from classmate Ben Park.
• The Tartans tallied 11 shots with seven being on goal.
• Garten and Park led offensively for the team with three shots apiece, with Garten having two on goal and Park one.
