Get to Know: Tim Kikta
Tim Kikta is wide receiver for the Tartans and a First-Team
All-UAA selection following the 2012 season. The junior mechanical
engineering major caught 44 passes while setting a Tartan
single-season record with 954 yards receiving. Kikta led the
UAA in receiving yards, as well as receiving touchdowns with
seven.
1. Favorite CMU football moment to this point in your
career?
Catching the Game Winning TD against Grove City.
2. Why did you come to CMU?
I liked the idea of playing football at a great school, while
staying in my hometown of Pittsburgh.
3. What internships have you had or will you
have?
I worked at Union Electric Steel in Carnegie, Pa. last summer.
4. Siblings or parents that play or played college
athletics? If so, where and what sport?
My brother Matt played football at Duquesne University.
5. If you could meet any celebrity, who would it
be?
Kevin James

it be?

9. Best place you have ever visited?
Germany, and recently visited the Bahamas for spring break.
