Andrew Baker begins his first year on the Carnegie Mellon staff in 2025, as he will be working with the safeties.

In 2024, Baker was the linebackers coach at Waynesburg University. Prior to his stint on the Yellow Jacket staff, Baker served as the defensive coordinator at Bishop Canevin High School from 2020 through 2023. During his time on the staff at Canevin, the team won the WPIAL championship and the defense was ranked tops for two seasons in 1A while ranking in the top 10 in al of the WPIAL for three seasons, including as high as third best. Prior to his time at Canevin, Baker was on the staff at Baldwin High School for three seasons.

Baker is a 2012 graduate of Waynesburg University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration before receiving his master's degree in business administration in 2014. While at Waynesburg, he was a four-year member of the football team.

Baker resides in Munhall with his wife, three daughters and stepson.
