Justin Caputo Named to D3football.com Preseason All-America Team

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – Senior placekicker Justin Caputo of the Carnegie Mellon University football team was named to the D3football.com Preseason All-America Team. Caputo landed a spot on the first team.

Caputo is a two-time first team All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) selection in 2023 and 2024. Last season, he led the conference in scoring for kickers with 83 points for the second straight year, while also leading the PAC with 10 field goals and 53 converted point-after-attempts. He recorded a career-long 43-yard field goal against Grove City.

He is the program's all-time leader in field goals made with 24 for his career and currently ranks third in program history with 93 career PATs, needing six to move into second and 16 to become the all-time leader.

Carnegie Mellon, preseason ranked 18th, will open its 2025 season on Saturday, September 6, at the University of Chicago. Kick is set for 12:00 p.m. CT in Chicago, Illinois.
