Lajoie Named to D3football.com Team of the Week

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – Carnegie Mellon University senior Jackson Lajoie was recognized nationally on the D3football.com Team of the Week. Lajoie garners the honors following his play Saturday in the 14th-ranked Tartans' 42-0 win over Waynesburg.

Lajoie recorded two blocked kicks in the win. The first was on a 42-yard field goal attempt in the second quarter and the second on a punt on the Yellow Jackets first drive of the fourth quarter. The senior also recorded three tackles.

Carnegie Mellon will travel north to play Grove City College on Saturday, October 12. Kick against the seventh-ranked Wolverines is at 2:00 p.m. in Grove City, Pennsylvania.
