(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University football team will conclude its home schedule on Saturday, October 29 when the Titans of Westminster College travel to Pittsburgh. Kick is set for 1:00 p.m. on the turf of Gesling Stadium.
Saturday's contest will mark the 36th meeting between the Tartans and the Titans. Last season, Westminster defeated Carnegie Mellon, 26-16, in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, to take an 18-16-1 edge in the series. The first meeting between the two school's saw Westminster win 12-0 in 1907. In the 35 meetings, there have been 18 shutouts with the Tartans holding the edge 11-7.
Carnegie Mellon, who is 4-3 overall and 4-2 in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play, will look to win its third straight contest. Westminster enters the contest with a 6-1, 4-1 mark and is coming off a 16-10 win over Washington & Jefferson College.
