Tartans Win Rowan Interregional Border Battle

(LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team, ranked eighth in NCAA Division III dominated the Rowan Interregional Border Battle at Rowan University on Saturday, October 18. The Tartans scored 32 points almost 100 below the second place team.

Results

• Graduate student Chloe Bonson won the race in a blistering time of 20:57.9 on the 6k course.
• Following shortly behind was junior Ananya Devpura in second place, running 21:19.1.
• Finishing in fifth place was junior Maya Ducker with a time of 21:35.1.
• Sophomore Elise Kempf finished in 21:44.60 to place eighth overall.
• Finishing together were seniors Margaret Ann Healy and Orit Shiang in 18th and 19th with times of 22:05.7 and 22:07.8.
