Tartans Host Annual Invitational
(CLINTON Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team returned back to Clinton, Pennsylvania, to host the Carnegie Mellon Invitational after competing on the same course earlier this year. The Tartans placed seventh out of 19 teams. Adding to the excitement of the day, eight CMU cross country alumni returned to the home meet to race. Their presence was a testament to the lasting community and spirit of the program.

Results:
- Junior Kara Mathias led the Tartans finishing 24th overall in a personal best of 18:16.6.
- The second Tartan to cross the line was freshman Lexi Ohler placing 30th, running 18:26.5, another personal record.
- Junior Alaina Patel marked a new personal-best finish at 38th with a time of 18:38.9.
- Finishing in 62nd was sophomore Estee Teo boasting a new personal record with a time of 19:03.
- Graduate student Cora Marcet finished in 19:14.1, placing 72nd with a personal-best time.
- Junior Adelaide Hall finished with a personal best of 19:33.0 to place 85th overall.
- Freshman Eva Adam also ran a personal record of 19:37 placing 89th.
- On her birthday, sophomore Allison Fan finished in 112th place with a time of 20:09.4, a personal best.
