#7 Tartans Claim Second Place at Paul Short Invite
(BETHLEHEM Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team, ranked seventh in DIII competed in the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University on Friday, October 3. In an exciting and hot race the Tartans placed second out of 45 teams, scoring 157 points on the 6k course.

Results
- Graduate student Chloe Bonson led the Tartans in the front pack finishing sixth overall in a blazing time of 21:12.5.
- The second Tartan to cross the line was junior Maya Ducker placing 24th, running 21:52.1
- Following shortly behind was junior Ananya Devpura who was 32nd overall in 21:57.60
- Sophomore Elise Kempf finished in 22:09.0 to place 45th overall.
- Crossing in 52nd was sophomore Emma Horsley with a time of 22:19.0.
