Bonson Earns Second UAA Athlete of the Week Award

(ROCHESTER, N.Y.) - Carnegie Mellon University graduate student Chloe Bonson was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for her performance on Friday, September 12 at the Robert Morris University Colonial Invitational. The award is the second of the season for Bonson and the team.

Bonson led the Tartans to a victory in a field of 11 teams comprised of Division I, II and III institutions. The graduate student took third overall in the 6k race, crossing the finish line first for the Tartans with a time of 20:46.8.

The Tartans next compete on Friday, October 3 at Lehigh University's Paul Short Invitational.
