#9 Tartans Capture RMU Colonial Invitational Title

(CLINTON, Pa) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's cross country team took first place in the Robert Morris University Colonial Invitational on Friday, September 12. The Tartans scored a total of 31 points on the 6k course.

CMU 31, Walsh 42, Davis and Elkins 104, Duquesne 122, West Virginia 122.

Results

• Graduate student Chloe Bonson took third overall in the race, crossing the finish line first for the Tartans with a time of 20:46.8.
• Junior Ananya Devpura took fourth overall and second for the Tartans with a time of 20:57.0.
• Sophomore Elise Kempf and junior Maya Ducker took eighth and ninth place overall with times of 21:21.9 and 21:24.8, respectfully.
• Sophomore Emma Horsley finished next for the Tartans with a time of 21:41.8 and placed 11th.
• Senior Jackie Liu finished in 22:21.3 with senior Margaret Ann Healy crossing the line in 22:26.3.
