Tartans Selected to Host NCAA Volleyball Regional

(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.) – For the fourth straight season, the Carnegie Mellon University volleyball team will compete for a national championship after winning the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship and earning automatic qualification to the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship. The Tartans have also been selected to host an eight-team regional in the Highmark Center for Health, Wellness and Athletics from November 20-22.

The Tartans are making their fifth appearance in the national tournament under the direction of seven-year head coach Anne Bock, and the 11th overall appearance in program history.

The Tartans, who won the program's first UAA Championship, have a 24-8 record and have played nine nationally ranked opponents. They'll open play on Thursday against Stevens (22-9).

Also coming to Pittsburgh is Wisconsin-Eau Claire (27-4), St. Mary's (MD) (17-14), Otterbein (24-5), Wittenberg (20-7), Hope (22-6), and Southern Virginia (23-8).

11:30 am – Otterbein vs. Wittenberg
2:00 pm – Wisconsin-Eau Claire vs. St. Mary's (MD)
4:30 pm – Hope vs. Southern Virginia
7:00 pm – Carnegie Mellon vs. Stevens

Friday, November 21
4:30 pm – Otterbein/Wittenberg winner vs. Wisconsin-Eau Claire/St. Mary's winner
7:00 pm – Hope/Southern Virginia winner vs. Carnegie Mellon/Stevens winner

Saturday, November 22
5:00 pm – Friday Winners

The regional winner will advance to the championship site at the Shirk Center Arena in Bloomington, Illinois, from December 3-6.
