Bio

Noah Swaby is joining the Carnegie Mellon University track and field program as an assistant coach in 2026, focusing on the multi events and the high jump.

Swaby is 2021 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor's degree in philosophy and in 2023 studied operations management at the University of Arkansas.

Swaby is the Costa Rican National Record Holder in the decathlon. While competing at Penn State he achieved NCAA Second Team All-American and All-Big Ten honors. While at Arkansas he contributed to multiple team SEC Championships (2022, 2023) and placed fourth in the SEC decathlon.

In addition to his coaching role, Swaby is also a decathlete, strength coach, and a rehabilitative training specialist at Essential Strength in Pittsburgh.
