Career-Best Marks Lead Tartans at Slippery Rock
(SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa.) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's track and field team competed at the Slippery Rock University Last Chance Meet on Thursday, April 16.
Top Performances
- The Tartans placed third in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 50.49.
- Freshman Sophia Riche finished the 100-meter hurdles in a career-best time of 15.16, placing fifth.
- Senior Jackie Liu earned third place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:18.63.
- Senior Alexa Lowe ran the 400-meter hurdles in a career-best time of 1:05.63, placing fourth.
- Freshman Isabelle Garlick was seventh in the high jump with a career mark of 1.55 meters.
- Senior Zoe King and senior Iniyaa Mohanraj placed fifth and sixth in the long jump with marks of 5.51 meters and 5.48 meters, respectively.
- Mohanraj also finished fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 11.14 meters.
