Tartans Traveled to Kent State
(KENT, Ohio) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's track and field team competed at the Kent State Doug Raymond Invitational on February 6th and 7th.
Top Track Performances
- Sophomore Allison Fan took 13th place in the 3000-meter race, crossing the line in 11:27.84, a new personal best.
- Sophomore Estee Teo crossed the 800-meter line in 21st with a time of 2:24.01, a seasonal best.
- In the 400-meter dash senior Alexa Lowe raced a new personal best of 1:04.18, to place 28th with sophomore Catherine Stava just behind in 30th with a 1:04.87.
- Sophomore Catherine Stava, Lowe, Teo, freshman Alani Timmons, placed sixth in the 4x400-meter relay, crossing the line with a time of 4:15.9.
Top Field Performances
- Sophomore Ava Barnes placed second in the pole vault after clearing 3.50 meters.
- Freshmen Isabella Garlick and Adrienne Warren along with sophomore Catalina Howells all tied for 11th place in the high jump clearing the bar at 1.50 meters.
- Senior Zoe King took 10th place in the long jump with a jump of 5.41 meters.

The Tartans will compete at the David Henry Valentine Invite at Boston University and the Susquehanna Invitational on Friday and Saturday, February 13-14.
