Tartans Traveled to Kent State

(KENT, Ohio) – The Carnegie Mellon University women's track and field team competed at the Kent State Doug Raymond Invitational on February 6th and 7th.

Top Track Performances

  • Sophomore Allison Fan took 13th place in the 3000-meter race, crossing the line in 11:27.84, a new personal best.
  • Sophomore Estee Teo crossed the 800-meter line in 21st with a time of 2:24.01, a seasonal best.
  • In the 400-meter dash senior Alexa Lowe raced a new personal best of 1:04.18, to place 28th with sophomore Catherine Stava just behind in 30th with a 1:04.87.
  • Sophomore Catherine Stava, Lowe, Teo, freshman Alani Timmons, placed sixth in the 4x400-meter relay, crossing the line with a time of 4:15.9.
