Shiang Set to Compete at 2025 NCAA Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships

(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.) – Junior Orit Shiang of the Carnegie Mellon University women's outdoor track and field team has received an invite to compete at the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 22-24 at Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.

Shiang qualified for the outdoor championships in the 10,000-meter run. She qualified with a school record time of 35:38.81 that came at the University Athletic Association Championships.

Shiang is set to run on Thursday, May 23 at 9:15 p.m.
